Capitals/Islanders Recap

Courage Caps

I was proud to be a part of putting together this nice piece on the Capitals visit to the Children's National Medical Center. This is the full piece that aired on Monday during the 10pm SportsNite. The best part is Poti's exchange with one of the kids in which the kid goes from saying "You'll turn it around" to "You won't turn it around" (in regards to the Capitals current two game losing streak). A Trip to the Movie Theatre to Watch Some Hockey?

I have definitely never heard of this before, but it sounds like a great idea. A trip to the theaters to watch your favorite team on the big screen, which also happens to be in high-definition. Toronto and Calgary are both taking part in this experiment.

Stingrays Announce Training Camp Roster

Capitals prospects include Steve Pinizzotto, Stephen Werner, Travis Morin, and Patrick McNeil. An interesting note: Only 4 defensemen are listed on the roster. Perhaps that will change as Hershey just inherited another in Jeff Schultz.

Here Are Some Dedicated Caps Fans

They have remodeled their basement to resemble the Verizon Center, home of the Washington Capitals. My only question is, what are they going to do now that the Caps have changed their logos and colors?
