MUST WIN GAME

The most overused phrase in sports? But it is definitely the case for the Washington Capitals tonight. If they hope to be a serious contender for a playoff berth this season, these are the types of games you cannot flounder.

They host a team in disarray. The Philadelphia Flyers hold the worst record in the NHL (11-27-4, 26 points) and come into the game tonight on a three game loosing streak.

On the other hand, the Capitals come into the game tonight on a bright note. After loosing five consecutive games, they have won their last two, including a thrilling overtime victory on Saturday night against division leading Atlanta. They are above the .500 mark once again (18-17-7, 43 points) and look to close out their 4-game home stand with a 3-1 record.

The Captials will have some much welcomed help back into their lineup tonight as Matt Bradley returns for his first action in about a month. He has not played since breaking a finger in his right hand in a fight during the December 8th game against Anaheim.

Tonight the Capitals will also celebrate the Hershey Bears Calder Cup 2006 Championship.

It's also two for Tuesday night. Buy any 2 tickets for the price of one. So if you are able, take advantage of this ticket discount by checking out some live hockey tonight at the Verizon Center.

SUPPORT YOUR CAPS!!!
GO TO THE GAME, WEAR WHITE, AND BE LOUD!!!
