1) With a likely change in uniforms for next season you'd of thought that Caps concession stands at their last few home games would offer some deep discounts for the soon-to-be 'vintage'(obsolete) jersyes
2) Last season they had a 25-50% off sale on ALL merchandise. This year, NOTHING. Great marketing folks!
Very good point. I bet they will do that once the new uniforms are out.
They need to cash in on as many full price jerseys as possible before the switch. Hence no "official" announcement about the change.
They also didn't have discounted merchandise like they did at the last couple of games of last season. It's certainly the organization's decision on discounting merchandise, but it did get me to dig into my wallet at the end of last year.
